The Blues Brothers

Join us for this inaugural screening celebrating the long-running late-night sketch comedy and variety show — Saturday Night Live! This special evening will feature classic SNL sketches played before the film along with trivia, games and prizes. We also encourage attendees to dress up as their favorite SNL characters such as Stefon, the Coneheads or Wayne and Garth, as we will be hosting an in-theater costume contest!

About the film: Based on the iconic SNL sketch, this John Landis musical pairs John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd as the Blues Brothers, sent “on a mission from God” to save their orphanage. To do this, they must get their old band back together to raise the money. Featuring performances by Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, and many more, this film is a beloved comedy and a fond tribute to the artists who pioneered R&B, soul and blues music.
